Everyone loves fried chicken, and here is an easy, delicious Japanese version - Chicken Karaage. Ingredients can all be easily obtained from your Chinese/Japanese/Korean groceries. If you're not a chicken fan, you can try pork (pork neck) or even fish. Meat250g of Chicken (thigh, breast or wing) 1/2 an egg Marinade1 table spoon sake 1 table spoon soy sauce 1 teaspoon mirin 1 -2 cloves of grated garlic 1-2 teaspoon of grated ginger Batter2.5 tablespoon of flour 2.5 tablespoon of corn flour 1. Cut chicken into pieces and stab/poke with fork, and mix with in a bowl. Leave for 15 mins in a bag 2. Beat the egg and mix into marinade. Take chicken out of the bag wiping off any excess liquid with cooking paper and place into a bowl 3. Lightly dust chicken with mixed flour and corn flour, or dip each piece of chicken into the batter mixture and deep fry in 160 - 170 degrees oil, or until golden brown.
